Our names are Russell and Laura How and we have been a couple for over ten years. Ours is a story of love at first sight and it just gets deeper as the years go by. We feel hugely fortunate to have found a way of making a living which we both love and one that we can share.
A pair of true romantics, it really is no surprise that we spend our days immersed in the world of other peoples love stories! Put simply, our goal is to provide beautiful images which capture the heart and soul of your special day whilst offering a truly personal service.Russell has been an avid photographer since he was a little boy. He got his first camera at the age of seven and has rarely been seen without one since! He introduced me to the wonderful world of photography when we met and another love affair was sparked! After years of having people we knew compliment our work we had a go at shooting a few of our friends’ weddings. We loved it from day one and it wasn’t long before the idea of making a living from it was pretty much the only thing we thought and talked about! Not much has changed since. Life for us is spent with our beautiful son Charlie and our two crazy cats Elmo and Marley.
If we’re not actually shooting a wedding we are probably talking about it and if we are taking a break from weddings we are probably taking pictures of Charlie, the cats, each other, friends and family or the beautiful surrounding countryside! Photography isn’t just a vocation for us it really is a passion and a huge part of our everyday lives.We love everything about weddings, from the stories that lead up to each day to the finest detail of the day itself! From the initial consultation we hope you will feel strongly how passionate we are about the work we do. We work tirelessly to ensure that every emotion, detail and special moment is captured with impeccable care and attention.
In order to do this we ensure through our every interaction with you that we understand what your day will involve from the timings of the day to the smallest detail; if it’s important to you, it’s important to us! Our couples often tell us they felt totally comfortable in the knowledge we had the photography covered which ensured they were able to enjoy their day to the fullest. We also hear time and again from both couples and their guests that we make the photography a fun and relaxed part of the day by working in a warm, friendly and unobtrusive way.
