Crowcombe Court is a licensed wedding venue able to host civil ceremonies. For ceremonies, up to 100 guests can be seated in the Great Hall. The beautiful church in Crowcombe village, which stands at the entrance to the drive, also conducts weddings for brides and grooms from outside the parish if at all possible. There are two potential wedding breakfast locations each with their own character and capacity. The Great Hall can seat 60 and the ballroom 106. For large weddings a marquee can be erected on the Croquet lawn, linked to the house, with a capacity of up to 250.
A Wedding for all seasons
Spring: As the combes and vales of Somerset burst into leaf Crowcombe Court shakes off Winter to reveal this grand Georgian house in all its splendour. Baroque plasterwork and soaring high ceilings give you a dazzling setting for a Spring wedding.
Summer: A Summer wedding with the parkland awash with greens of every hue is the perfect backdrop for a wonderful day. Whether a marquee decked with fluttering pennants or in the style and grandeur of the Great Hall Crowcombe Court will give you a venue which you will always remember.
Autumn: The majestic parkland slopes and hanging wood slowly turn to a sea of gold and the approach to the house offers you the backdrop of the English Countryside in all its glory. You can combine themes of russets, reds and golds to complement this most colourful season.
Winter: Roaring log fires welcome you to the Great Hall as the house nestles in the protection of the Quantocks. Snow on the ground can provide you with the most magical of atmospheres and the most memorable of Winter weddings.
At Crowcombe Court we endeavour to offer you an exclusive, bespoke day to remember. With eight magnificent ensuite guest rooms, the splendour of the Great Hall and reception rooms and the intimate club atmosphere of the vaulted undercroft cellars, Crowcombe is unique and exceptional.
